Here's a reminder that the November meeting is coming up this Thursday! November is typically Malt month, and it still sort of is, however this month the lovely folks from Imperial Yeast will be at the meeting to give us all a presentation and Q&A session about Kveik yeast. You may have heard about these newly discovered Norwegian farmhouse yeasts that ferment super fast at super high temperatures with no off flavors. Come and learn more about them and how to get the most out of them. There will also be a number of beers to sample that were fermented with these yeasts.
In addition to the yeast presentation, if you have a malty beer you'd like to share, there's still the social time before the formal meeting (6:30-7:15pm) as well as after the presentation.
As always beer is not the price of admission. We meet in the back room of Bader's (711 Grand Blvd. Vancouver, WA 98661) Social time starts at 6:30pm, formal meeting at 7:15pm
