Hey gang, the idea was floated recently about hosting a tree-oriented brewday at my property in the woods (out past Swift Reservoir on FS25, if that means anything to you). We've got several varieties of Spruce, Western Hemlock, Western Red Cedar, Doug Fir, which should all be tipping out in June. There's also plenty of forest area nearby to pick from if more is needed. Also, no requirement to do a tree beer, just that it's a common ingredient seen in beers from y'all ;)

For brewday logistics, we have well water, which I have never tested, but anyone is welcome to use if they'd like. There's just one hose, so we'd need to coordinate and just some splitters to chill multiple batches at once. Grains and brewing waste would need to be hauled back home. Boiling would have to be all on propane, or use the fire pit (I've got plenty of firewood). We could also consider doing a steinbier?

For camping, our lot has a few spaces, and our neighbor is ok with using his field as well, especially for trailers and large tents. Hammock camping is also an option. I cannot offer electricity, water, or sewer hookups, must be self-supporting, and haul home all your trash.

For exact timing, please respond on this form what day(s) would work for you. Once we know when, we can work on ironing out the details.

Ok y'all, looks like June 21st is the most popular day. I'm putting it on the calendar :)
