Any of you fellers interested in some rhizomes from my hop plants?  I have both Cascade and Centennial.  I need to thin them back some this year.   Free, just come pick them up.

I may also sell my butt ugly hop trellis.  Pretty sure I'm going to finally build a nice one this year.  Cheap if anyone is interested?

How green does your thumb have to be for successful yields?

Darn, I already dedicated my hops area to cucumbers this year, since my hop inventory is overflowing and I might be moving next year. Otherwise I would love some centennial.

John, hops pretty much grow like weeds and require little maintenance.  You will need something for them to climb (either vertically or horizontally with manual intervention).  I think I have extra poles/flag poles you can have that have a t-bar at the top with eye hooks that rope can hang from.

If you have one of those I'd take one for sure Aaron. That was one of my hesitancies was making/buying trellis.  Mmmm centennials and cascades both sound tempting Steve. :) I'll have to grow min in a pot though.

You are welcome to come get some.  Probably want to do it quick though, the bines are already breaking ground.
