I finally received our invitation (attached) to exhibit at the Central Coast Bioneers Conference in SLO, in Oct. (their call for speakers is waaay early and we missed it)(Recap: Some months ago we were looking into other places to exhibit. The Nat'l Bioneers Conf is in CA, but is expensive. This, the local one, is CHEAP and would let us check them out, and some Cal Poly students are members)They were excited that CASBA enquired about their conference. They don't seem to have a natural building presence yet,(everything but...) and it might be a good audience to capture the attention of.Lowdown:-Speakers (inc Ken Haggard) http://www.ecologistics.org/centralcoastbioneers/2014-speakers.html-Keynote event http://www.ecologistics.org/centralcoastbioneers/2014-workshops/Keynote.html ("Toward a Just Climate Future")-Exhibitors registration info http://www.ecologistics.org/centralcoastbioneers/2014-exhibitors.html (website says NP booth is $35, invitation says $25..includes conference pass...cheap at either price for a day:-) full page ad $75, 1/2 page ad $50, etc)Sponsor students to attend $250. In-kind sponsorship discussable. Both include publicity.Do you think Turko and/or Greg, or Semmes Co would do a booth, or is there anyone else in the vicinity?********************************************************************************************************************************************************** Central Coast Bioneers is the Bioneers Network Member for the San Luis Obispo County, Santa Barbara County and Monterey County region. We are committed to capturing the sense of excitement, hope, connection and inspiration that is so much a part of the Bioneers conference tradition.
