Hi CASBA Members:

We have received an invitation for CASBA to attend the workshop described below.  CASBA will gladly cover their generously discounted fee, and supply with information and exhibits, but our real need is for volunteers to attend on our behalf.

Note that the event will be held on Thursday, May 28th, in Redwood Valley, Mendocino County.

Please contact CASBA at in...@strawbuilding.org if you are interested in attending.

Thanks,

CASBA

Hello,

I am happy to hear that our workshop is interesting to you. Please find the workshop information and tentative agenda attached. The intention of this workshop is to give tribal leaders access to the different kinds of resources available so that they can address their people’s housing needs in the best ways possible. I would love to have some straw builders out as it is one of the more affordable forms of sustainable building and one which tribes have already had some exposure to.

Please note that the event will take place from 10:00 am – 12:00pm on May 28th at the Redwood Valley Rancheria. Please also note that you all are also eligible for a non-profit registration fee discount which would bring registration fee down from $100 to $25.

I am happy to answer any questions that you might have and look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you,
