Hi all,

I intend to use the Gurobi solver for my nlp problem in CasADi and as far as I understood, the latest CasADi release 3.5.5 supports only the Gurobi version 6.5.0 [1].

I have been trying to find the linux64 binaries of Gurobi and no success so far since this version of Gurobi is too old and no more supported [2].

  1. Is it possible to use the never versions of Gurobi (e.g. 9.1.2) in CasADi (without having to build from source)?
  2. If not, how do you get the binaries of Gurobi 6.5.0? One can always contact Gurobi for this specific version but I just wonder whether it is publicly available somewhere.
Thanks,

Best Regards

Hi, I successfully used a version 9 of gurobi with casadi with ubuntu 18.04. I just renamed the  libgurobi9x.so to  libgurobi65.so and it worked.

With Windows renaming a copy of bin/gurobi90.dll to gurobi65.dll worked out as well!
