Building MeqTrees with casacore/casarest

Hi everybody,

I wonder if anyone can comment on the recommended versions of casacore/pyrap?

I spent the whole day trying to build it, and ended up quite confused by now.

Casacore-0.3.0patched fails to install header files for many
sub-packages, starting
from scimath (with pyrap failing to build due to this).

I tried to compile svn version of casacore (revision 20358), but this one seems
to have similar problems. I was able to build pyrap with it, but
casarest package
fails due to missing headers from the lattices package.

Any recommendations on building it?

can you specify what version of scons/gcc you are using. What is the exact error?
