taql manual

Hi all,

I am not sure whether this list is still alive or whether better mailing lists exist...

Could someone point me to a (reference) manual for taql?
Specifically I am looking for

* retrieving the structure of a table
* creating a new table with a defined structure

Also helpful would be to have a script that can dump a table into ASCII, similarly to mysqldump, which than could be fed back into taql to re-create the table. Does something like this
exist?
