New issue 56 by ole.stre...@gmail.com: Non-LGPL compliant licenses in
source files
http://code.google.com/p/casacore/issues/detail?id=56

The files install/printer/range.c and lwf_c.c have licenses incompatible to
the LGPL-2 (do-not-sell clause). I contacted their author and got the
permission to re-release these files under LGPL and to change the copyright
information accordingly. The files in the casacore tree should be changed
to reflect this situation. A patch is attached.

Also, the file images/Images/ImageReorderer.h is put under GPL (and not
LGPL) which infects the whole casacore package (which therefore would need
to be licensed as GPL as well). This file should be relicensed as well.

Best regards

Ole Streicher <deb...@liska.ath.cx>

Hi Ole,

the whole install directory is deprecated and is no longer in use. Pending
Ger's approval I will remove this from the repository.
images/Images/ImageReorderer.h is probably an oversight and will be fixed.
We will have to check if that was introduced by a casapy merge.

Malte,
Please go ahead with the deletion of install.
ImageReorder has already been removed (is part of CASA).
Ger
