We're still waiting on our stupid jars, so still no jam. But I did get my hands on a couple 1 liter le parfait jars, enabling the creation of some Damson Gin. Full story is over on esculents.

Today the sugar finished dissolving, and that means these 2 liters of gin are our first official preserves to grace our fabulous pantry! Brobee is no longer alone down there, and that is casa news if I ever heard it.

Does it say anything about us that booze is the first thing we put by? My vote is "we're awesome", but I'm maybe biased.
