We found some sword ferns hiding behind some crappy overblown bush in our back yard. We used them to get the front yard started. You know it's our big plan to make the whole front yard all native plants, low water, etc etc.

The hydrangeas that we liked so much drought. You know the policy;
the weak are mulched. You know what, the ferns look better there anyway.

oh, rocks, how do I moss you? let me count the ways.
ah 1, ah 2, ah 3. Thrrrreee kinds of moss.
We also found some pretty nice rocks hiding around the yard. They're not the tonners that I fantasize about (because they're expensive as hell), but they look pretty nice with some transplanted moss. That was Rakka's idea; brilliant! Course, we know bupkiss about transplanting moss, so we'll see how it goes.
