2) Community Prayer for Sick/Distressed
This Sunday June 22nd there will be a special dua made for the sick
and distressed in our community from 11am-12pm in the Cary Masjid.

In our community there are usually people sick and distressed who are
in need of our prayer. Recently there are a lot more people who are
having surgery, sick or distressed. One sister is having an
operation, a teenager is having a kidney transplant with a kidney
donated by their mother, another young child is having an operation on
their knee, and another person is in a coma due to have brain surgery.

In times like this, getting together, performing the Zikr of Allah
Subhana Wa'tala and then making dua is very beneficial to help gain
the favor of Allah Subhana Wa'Tala and Inshallah have him shower his
blessings and Shifath for all of us.

Sunday at 11am there will be a Ya-Salaamu Zikr followed by Dua.
Everyone is encouraged to come.


3) Annual Islamic Quiz Competition
Enhance Islamic knowledge during summer vacation via the 6th Annual
Islamic Knowledge Quiz Competition of 2008. Registration forms are
available online or in the masjid. Saturday August 16th, 2008 at
10:00 A.M.. For details please contact

4) IQRA Summer Day Camp
The Cary Masjid is offering Summer Day Camp programs for ages 5 to 17
years. There are three different programs for parents to choose. All
programs are offered in three sessions starting June 9th.


5) Quran Memoriazation with Hafiz Amir Qasmi
We will start with Surah-Wakhia Inshallah on Wednesday June 25th,
2008. There will be a brief tafseer in parallel on the weekly ayath
which will be studied. Hafiz Amir Qasmi is offering these sessions
FeeSabeelillah - for the sake of Allah Subhana WaTala - no fee.


6) Family Dinner Night ON HOLD
Due to a lack of regular attendance, the Family Dinner Night has been
put on Hold.
