- EID-UL-ADHA Celebration!
The North American Foundation of Islamic Services (NAFIS) is hosting
an open to all public Celebration of Eid Al-Adha at the Cary Masjid.

- The first 10 days of Zul-Hijjah are very blessed and fasting on the
9th of Zul-Hijjah, Day of Arafat, has significance and in a Hadith,
the Prophet (peace be upon him) told the believers to fast on the
ninth of Zul-Hijjah, stating that the fast of that day is an atonement
for the sins of the previous and coming years. The 9th of Zul-Hijjah
would be on Thursday December 20, 2007.

- In regards to the new masjid, we are having Open Bids for Site
Development of the land as we begin our efforts in the name of Allah.
We request all experienced, licensed, and insured contractors to
contact A&M Ventures, brother Parvez Mirza, in regards to submitting a
bid. Their business cards along with an informational flier can be
found in the lobby.

- We would like to remind you that the current operational expenses of
this masjid here and now is running in the negative. We request you
give for the sake of Allah and Inshallah Allah will give you great
ajar for this, especially during the first 10 days of Zul-Hijjah

Jazakallahkheir
