In this update:
* Iqama times
* Family Dinner Together Night
* Fund Raising Dinner Reminder

* Iqama times at the Cary Masjid for May 11 - May 31st

* Family Dinner Together Night
Every 1st & 3rd Friday of the month, the Cary Masid invites you and
your family to have dinner together in the masjid.
Just make your normal family dinner plus enough for one more family
and bring it along with your family to the masjid. We can all sit and
have dinner together, sample international cuisine, and get to know
our fellow muslims in the community.
Inshallah this will be set for the 1st and 3rd Friday every month.
Watch for the Jummah announcment on these Fridays as a reminder.
* Fund Raising Dinner Reminder
New Masjid Fund Raising Dinner:
The Islamic Association of Cary is hosting a Fundraising Dinner to
support the Construction of a new Islamic center in Cary. This will
be on Sunday May 18, 2008 at 5:00pm at the Brier Creek Country Club.

Tickets are $50 per person.
Children under 16 are free.
* Friday Guest Speaker - Mazhar-ul-Haq
Mazhar-ul-Haq will be a Friday Jummah Talk Guest Speaker May 16th. He
is coming from out of town on May 15th. On Friday the 16th of May, he
will give the talk at 12:45pm before Juma'a Khutbah Inshallah.
Everyone is encouraged to come and listen. Additionally he will be
speaking at IAR on Friday after Maghrib.
* Quran Memoriazation with Hafiz Amir Qasmi
Hafiz Amir Qasmi is visiting our community and during the time he is
here, there will be weeky Memorization sessions on Wednesday after
Maghrib Inshallah.
We will start with Surah-Mulk Inshallah on Wednesday May 21st, 2008.
There will be a brief tafseer in parallel on the weekly ayath which
will be studied. You can hear audio of the Surah on the "Quran" link
located on the left side of our homepage.
Afterward this Surah next we will cover Surah-Wakhia Inshallah. We
have done Surah Yaseem in the past.
