Asalaamalaykum,

Alhumdulillah we have setup a PayPal account where you can donate
towards the New Cary Masjid online. The link is on the homepage!


Juma'a Announcements:

- Jazakallahkheir to the Brothers and Sisters that came to the
Fundraising Dinner for the new masjid. Mashallah it was a big turnout
and Alhumdulillah there was $314,000 pledged for the new masjid. We
thank you for your the Sadqa Jariya you have given with the sole
purpose of seeking the pleasure of Allah swt and we pray to Allah he
accepts your intentions, Ameen.

- Those of you that could not come, feel free to donate for the new
masjid or for ongoing operational expenses. Those that have pledged
at the dinner, can drop off their pledge checks in the drop box
anytime throughout the week; PLEASE put your NAME on the check or
envelope along with the word "PLEDGE"

- Regarding Eid-ul-Adha, Eid will be either Thursday December 20th or
Friday December 21st based on moon sighting for the start of the month
of Zul-Hajj. The start of the month will be determined based on
moonsighting on the night of Monday December 10th.

If Eid is celebrated on Thursday Decemeber 20th by Raleigh and Cary,
it will be at the Fairgrounds Exposition Center. Otherwise it will be
at the Cary Masjid. Please watch the cary masjid website Monday night
or sign-up for the mailing list to be notified via email.

- EID-UL-ADHA Celebration!
The North American Foundation of Islamic Services (NAFIS) is hosting
an open to all public Celebration of Eid Al-Adha at the Cary Masjid.
This celebration will be on Saturday, December 22, 2007 from 3pm -
8pm, regardless of when Eid Al-Adha will be. Inshallah there will be
Amdah, Competition, Prizes, Refreshments, and more!

- The weekly Thursday talk on Surah Bakhra by the Imaam will resume
starting this Thursday immediately after Isha. Everyone is encouraged
to bring their family.

- Finally, the father of Brother Syed Abdul Khayyum passed away in
India earlier this week. We ask that you remember him and his family
in your prayers.
