Thank you for working on this great cause, we are glad to be part of this to raise much needed funds for Anvi, Yesterday we celebrated  Pranay's Birthday and used the occasion to raise the funds (birthday boy contributed half of his Gifts to Anvi) and Pranay asked me to let Leena Aunty know that he worked hard to raise funds :-), together we successfully raised $1835/- so far + one out of town friend contribution paid directly to paypal account .. That sounds like a great idea.  We can probably get the small Hindu Bhavan hall for this purpose.  Contacting Sharma Auntie/Uncle could help us get the small hall for no charge.  Sunil/Ankita, can you try contacting them this since you know them the best?  In the interest of time, we need to do this no later than next weekend.  

I know a contact at ICMDS who could help me spread the word about this concert through their mailing list.  ICMDS members are the ones to be targeted since they are the most interested in classical music.

Please include everyone in this thread for all communication going forward, as they are all helping significantly with this campaign.

Smitha K Prasad 7:37am May 25 The one other thing that I was thinking of in terms of raising funds for Anvi is- maybe a Carnatic-Hindusthani concert? They usually work well as fund-raisers. If you all can find somebody to donate some space, I am confident that I can find musicians who will donate their time for this effort. Todays update from my side 

I went to the Hospital to see baby Anvi Today.It was so heartbreaking to see a cute little toddler having a deadly health condition.

The baby is clueless about what is ravaging her but is scared of the hospital and wont get down from her parents arms as she knows instictively this is the place they poke and prod her and it is painful.

She is a very sweet and gave me a high five and a flying kiss with--- muuh---vove ---yuh--( kisss kiss love u is what she wanted to say).Outwardly she is like any other toddler cute and down right innocent but...

I can go on about the baby she is just a doll.

UPDATE ON HER TRANSPLANT:

-- May 29th they admit her in the hospital 

--June 3rd they start her chemo and IV

--June 11 or 12 the transplant is scheduled.

--Parents have collected 2 more lakhs and are still working towards the big figure in front of them.

After meeting her all i feel is baby Anvi has to to get over the hump and will get over the hump .God bless her ...
