about a Blog that has been setup for our group. This is in conception
stage now. Instead of taking up meeting time tonight, let me explain a
few things now:
- A blog is a "new" form of dynamic posting of information & details,
replacing forums.
- A blog is easy to post or reply to articles with.
- Blog sites are free - ours is through blogspot.com
- Our blog is currently closed (not open for any internet user to
view). Until we decide on if we want to make public, it will remain
private, so that you must be setup to view by invitation (via email).
- We can set members up to view only or have access to post. I think
it's most effective if everyone is free to post, so this is how it
will originally be established.
- Before posting photos to web, you should always review the
copyrights of owners of web sites (this blog site is free, but not
sure of all the rights you might give away to your works). At least
you should always copyright (via water mark) your electronic pictures
before uploading, and downgrade resolution.
- Since I could not copy email addresses out of the PDF formatted
document (that I have) of members, I'm having to rely on use of this
group.
If Bobbi or someone else could email me a list of all member's email
addresses, I can set everyone up at once to gain access to blog. Until
then, please email me directly to be added so that you can gain
access.

FYI, I prefer to receive email using my yahoo: mali...@yahoo.com,
since I normally use it more than JavaD...@gmail.com (if you are
wondering -- I'm a software engineer who programs using Java and my
favorite NASCAR driver is Jeff Gordon who drives the #24 car)
