Meetups -- crossing groups

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was a meeting coming up? (not sure who's
organizing)

Also, if anyone's interested, I run a Durham-centered group called
Triangle Photographers that you can join and be informed about our
activities. We have an outting Sunday to nearby towns - meeting 10 AM
at 9th st. Durham (at the large parking lot), leaving 10:30AM. You can
also call in to meet on the road.

Hope it's ok to post this - people can be in several groups, I'm
guessing - I would love to check out a meet for this one.

     It is alright to post here. The CPA Google group doesn't get much activity. We have our main website below. Meeting schedule is on the web page. Is your group the same as The Photographic Society of the Triangle which is a pro oriented group?

Thanks - I'll come to the meeting next week (assuming it's happening).
No, it's not the same group. Mine has a mix of pros and beginners -
not absolute beginners, but relative beginners. Still, it's oriented
towards serious (though fun) photography. The people who bother coming
regularly are ones who love their photography and are always striving
to improve, and a few members have sold pieces/services, etc.

     Anyone at any time can come to the meeting but the advantage of joining is we have shows ( no fees) that are limited to members plus one jury show per year (fee plus the juror has to like your work). I won't be at the next meeting on June 4th but the topics are

HDR with Thomas Zuber and Gene Crumpler - (45 mins of photos)
