Windows 10 fall upgrade ver 1709 update

I just did an upgrade install of the Pro version of the new fall update - version 1709 - and it went just fine.
I also did a clean install of the HOME version and that to did not have the issue I mentioned at the meeting of not installing programs except from the Windows Store. Apparently, the only versions that were on the pre-release file I got was the S & Pro versions. The released file has Home, Pro, S, N and a few others. So they did not remove any versions. I have no idea why they sent out the pre-release without the Home version.
So at this point, when MS gets around to offering you the update I would recommend going ahead and install it.
If you want it now you can get it by downloading the file or doing an online install.
