Sorry for the absolute basic question, but this information was not availiable in the FAQ.

Which raw file formats does cartool support?
Specifically, I have some Brainvision (.vhdr, .vmrk, .eeg) files, which I would like to analyze.

Thanks!

cartool supports a lot of raw file formats and it certainly supports the brain vision format.

Hi,

Ok which then comes the question. How exactly does one import the data into the gui?
Naively, I tried dropping the raw files in and it did not work.
Perhaps some sort of conversion is first required?

thanks for replying fast

Of course.
I realized now I need to first create a linked file.

Sorry for the trouble
Thanks again.

Hi again.

It does seem like I was too optimistic and too quick to reply.
Could you please say exactly how to import a brainvision file into cartool?
Would I need to manually reformat my data in some way?

Thanks

you can just drag and drop et .eeg file into cartool given that you have the .vhdr and .vmrk in teh same directory.
