Dear Cartool experts,

I am trying to perform a microstate segmentation on epoched EEG data (resting state data with 30 2s long epochs per subject) and I am not sure how to do this in Cartool.
When I tell Cartool about my epochs in the Segmentation - Files dialog using the "Auto Epochs" option, it performs a separate segmentation for each epoch, estimating a separate optimal number of clusters for each epoch. However, I would like to perform one segmentation analysis on all epochs from one subject, but taking into account that the data are not continuous at the epoch boundaries.
Is there a way to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

You should concatenate the epochs together (and likely only concatenate the samples at the gfp peaks).

A new version of CARTOOL was just released - and there are several the new options for sponanteous resting EEG that make working with these data easier. If you have markers in your file that indicate the GFP peaks, for instance, it can run it just on those peaks, vs. working with a file where every sample is a GFP peak.
