Hello,

I have one question on the struture of the sef binary file format in Cartool: could someone explain me how this files are built (how the data is structured) and how many octets per channel?

Many thanks,
Irina

It's a very simple file format, you can have the full description
here:

http://brainmapping.unige.ch/cartool/refguide/files%20formats.htm#sef

After the header, data are single float, that is, 4 bytes each. They
are calibrated, no needs for any conversion.
Hop it helps, maybe somebody out there has a matlab code to simply
open these files (I'm sure there are!)?

Hi
Here is my matlab function for reading SEF files into matlab.
Is this what you need?
