Incorrect latlng returned by getLatLng() whenever the zoom level is changed.

Have anyone experienced getting an incorrect latlng being returned after using the function getLatLng() ? I used the drawing tool to change state of several markers. Initially, the latlng will be correct when the zoom level and pan is not change. After changing the zoom level or when you moved the map view and draw a polygon to select several markers, the function getLatLng() will return an incorrect latlng. Its like the orientation of the map layer changed when zoom is performed..
