Yes, there are people with chickens in the city limits. I was one of them for about 6 years. However, had a neighbor complained, I would be forced to get rid of them. Morehead City does not allow you to keep chickens. Most people don't have a problem and nothing is ever said about it. Animal control will come to your house and have you remove the "livestock" if someone complains. So, the key is to keep the neighbors happy with eggs :) or hope that noone finds out.. or be forced to get rid of them.

the back of the Coastal Community Market will be rotor tilled within \he
