Davis Shore Provisions Open Air Market Starts April

Hello, My name is Kim Overby, owner of Davis Shore Provisions General Store in Davis, NC located 30 miles from Beaufort on Hwy 70 East going to the Cedar Island Ferry.  We have been in buisness since August 4th, 2008 and have been very blessed by the Lord with a great local following and tourist market.  Talking with Stephanie Miscovich with the local food network, she provided me this site to send you this email.

 

 We are starting this weekend our Open Air Market that will run Monday - Saturday from April - Dec.  We are very interested in finding local vendors that would be interested in selling produce, seafood, herbs, etc.  We are excited about providing a place for the open air market.  Our prayers are that God will use this place to help vendors that are looking a place to sell their produce. 

 

We will not be open to a flea market or yard sale items.  We are keeping this for produce, seafood, gardeners, flowers, foods (if inspected by dept of agriculture), artist and crafters.  We will allow some churches, scouts, schools to use a space for fundraisers. 

 

We will have 15-20 spaces available. Cost will be $10 a day if preregistered or $12 a day if paying the day of the event.  The market is available Mon-Thurs, Saturday 8:00- 6:00 and Fridays 8:00 - 7:00 and  Below is  a copy of our flyer concerning the market. Please call Davis Shore Provisions at 252-729-0011 or email back to dsprov...@embarqmail.com .  Thanks for your interest or support.

Congrats, Kim and Mack.....sounds great.....have not had the opportunity
to stop by Davis Shore Provisions as yet but will do that one of these
weekends.....we met when Bobbee was leading the hope for the Down East
Charter School....and now I am hopeful we will connect here and also
with the Down East Business Association and its new agendas and great
potential ....so hope to see you soon and thanks for contributing a very

I hope the endeavor in Davis is successful. As for myself, it is too far away and I do not have enough to sell to justify a $10 up-front cost.
