All prayers are alike in-as-much as they are “talking with God,” but they are dissimilar as to the environment in which they are offered. Secret prayers differ greatly from social and family prayers (see Matt. 18:19; Acts 1:14; Acts 12:12). There is also corporate praying (see Luke 1:10; 2 Chron. 7:14; Acts 4:31). “Style” also enters into our praying. For example, many are brief (see Eccl. 5:2; Matt. 23:14); others are long and arduous. Some are repetitious and others are simple (Matt.6:7).. Some prayer is “secret” prayer, offered in solitude whether in public or privacy (see Matt. 6:6; Acts 10:9). Sometimes, we are to enter our closets to pray, and sometimes we are to pray publicly, vocally, and corporately as in the National Days of prayer that are often scheduled. Jesus said, "... if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven." --Mat 18:19
We should avoid ritual….God is more interested in our hearts than our works.
