I have two disk I'm clearing up but I forgot whether they were part of a RAID 5 array of 4 disks or a RAID 1 array of 2 disks. Is there any traces I can look at to determine? The RAID would have been a Linux software RAID used by QNAP. The QNAP NAS model is TS-451+. The partitions look like this in the screenshot:
As you can find on specification here at paragraph "4.1 Primary RAID Level" (page 13) there is a byte on each partition indicating the type of RAID to which the partition belongs. With mdadm --examine you can read this attribute.
I just inserted a 3TB drive into one bay on my freshly installed OMV6 box. It had been part of a prior install raid5 that was still in resync phase after initial setup. I know I could connect this to a windows machine or Hirem's bootdisk to do the diskpart clean trick but is there a way within OMV to handle it? When I try to use WIPE in the Storage Disks menu I get errors:
Strikes ?don't ?replace?the?raid? experience. Strikes are one off fights with no feeling of adventure or purpose. I want to go on an adventure with my friends. We need wing 8 and Anet is doing a gross disservice to the players who enjoy challenging 10 man content. We need another raid wing.
Just because someone repeats the content that doesn't mean X amount of players that haven't played raids have now played raids. Or that the amount of times the content has been repeated therefore means it's worthwhile to spend money on to produce.
That's great that the content paid for itself due to how replayed it is. This doesn't mean that anet is going to wait however many years just to get a pay off from it from the few players that consume that content.
I don't think anyone should try to justify the raids based on their ASSUMPTIONS about how much they have made or lost money for Anet. There ARE some good points being made here that even if Raid did make them money, the payback time is also a factor.
I am willing to speculate that revenue and payback time are not the only factors that determine the current lack of raid development. It's stunning how hard it is for some people to accept the situation. I have forgotten how many years it's been since a raid was released ... over 3 now? Move on people.
Whatever the reasons are that raids a no longer developed don't go away just because they are packaged as a mini-expansion. I mean, sure, Anet could dip their toe in the water to see the temperature for raid appetite again ... but not having mini-expansions doesn't stop them from doing that for the last 3 years either.
Raids have died with release of a first strike. The obvious trend right now is half-everything. Right now we are getting half-expansions. If you want good raid content, play other games. GW2 does not deserve your time if that's what you want to play.
I have a 146GB SAS HDD that I would like to replace with a 600GB SAS HDD, however the 146GB drive is part of a RAID 1. Can you simply clone the drive to to another drive and expect the RAID to work normally or do you have to do something special for this to work without issues. I am saying yes, you can clone normally without any special procedures. Am I correct here?
Initially yes, but depending on the controller, there are some of the higher end and mid-range cards that will allow you to increase the space once both disks have been replaced. But we do not know the controller type or model.
Trying to use the warranty tool on the web page, but cannot seem to locate the stocking ID or part number. Tried various combinations of what is printed on my label under the model number. Please see attached. Thank you.
Its been my pleasure to assist you. I am glad to hear you were able to submit your warranty request. Hope everything goes fine. I will close this thread now. If you have further questions contact us back.

The all new edition comes a full color island map and coin cards, plus new cue cards, new artwork, and some original Lightraider artwork from the 1980s that has never been released. We have also updated the story and added new encounters that the Adventure Master can apply in any sector to add flexibility
As most of you already know, Retchers and Porcupines are the jack-of-all-trades when it comes to raids, they both combine high DPS and explosive damage making them the two strongest weapons you can have for PVE, you are definitely not gonna have any struggle getting a good score with these. The optimal number for each would be either a pair of Retchers, or 4 Porcupines (or 3 + a Flash, in case you want something to slow down the bots)
However, these items are quite expensive and not many players can get their hands on them, so i will be giving alternative options for you that might not perform as good as them, but will definitely allow you to get a very good score.
Machineguns are easy to use, accurate, and have high DPS, making them a very good choice for raids, pretty much there is no bad option, with the only exception being frontal machineguns, as their limited firing angle can be annoying sometimes, but they can still perform pretty great if you can get away with their limitations.
Recommended gear:
Favorite medium cabin - For long overheating time weapons
Torero medium cabin
Humpback heavy cabin
R-2 Chill and/or RN Seal radiators
x1 Cs Taymyr or Shiver coolers - Not recommend using more than 1 cooler, as their bonus is drastically lower for each extra cooler you add
x4 Claw frontal wheel - If you own Claws and you have Aurora paired with other weapons, make sure to use them so you get a small damage boost for it. You should not make this a priority however, as the damage bonus is small and will only be applied to Aurora, it is only recommended if you already own Claw wheels.
Note: For the most effective use of machineguns, make sure you tapfire, as simply holding fire with them will reduce their accuracy and your overall DPS. with the exception of Miniguns and Caucasus, of course.
NOT Recommended:
AC43 Rapier - Bad accuracy and very bad DPS.
Cyclone - AC80 Stillwind does its job but far better.
AC64 Joule - Way too expensive for a very underwelming performance.
Plasma emmiters share a couple advantages, like firing constantly and, in case of Helios, being able to deal cabin damage by hitting the full volley anywhere on the bot. They are a pretty decent choice and only require a single module to support them.
NOT Recommended:
x3 Syntesis/Prometheus V/Helios + x1 Aurora - This combination does give you higher DPS, but not enough to compensate its 16 energy usage, leaving you with no extra energy to use. A Power Unit module will give you nearly the same DPS for a lower energy cost.
x4 Syntesis/Prometheus V/Helios - Same reason as the above.
NOT Recommended:
x3 Flash I - Despite being very effective against bots, this is absolutely not a good investment, as it will cost a LOT and you can simply buy 3 Porcupines instead, which will do a much better job.
Shotguns will be the weapon class i will recommend the least, as despite their incredible DPS, their range is very short, forcing you to stay closer to the bots, which will draw their attention to you.
Recommended gear:
Torero medium cabin
Favorite medium cabin
Jannabi light cabin
Oppressor engine
Bigfoot heavy wheels - only if you are using Thunderbolt or Mace.
R-2 Chill and/or RN Seal
x1 CS Taymyr or Shiver - Not recommend using more than 1 cooler, as their bonus is drastically lower for each extra cooler you add.
NOT Recommended:
Breaker - Will cost you way too much for a bit extra DPS, use hammerfalls instead.
Any frontal shotgun - You already got short range, now also limited firing angle, not worth.
Any reload shotgun - Worse accuracy, lower DPS and higher energy cost.
Gravastar - Way too innacurate, way too fragile and awful range.
