I recently got a good deal on a icom7300 and a window pass-through so I can avoid some drilling in my office. Im working on planing out my setup before I start connecting things and I am trying to map out the grounding an bonding of the equipment. The issue I am running into that there is some really conflicting info around grounding stations out there. Any recommendations based on your experience would be a great help.

Right now I’m looking at doing a 8 foot ground rod connected to the pass through ground termination point outside the window. Then connecting the internal ground point to a bus bar which I could connect to the equipment to act like a single point ground for the equipment. Im just not sure on which wire gauge i should use for this process.

Feed back is welcome as this is a new area for me.
