Request an Invitation to the CARS Slack Server

For those that may not know, CARS has a Slack server. Slack is a real-time messaging tool with many features so members can stay in touch. It retains all its history, allows pinning and saving files (handy for reference info) and even video calls in what it calls Huddles.

As CARS is a 501c(3) Public Charity, Slack donates a free "Pro" account so we get the benefits of a paid account without spending club funds (thanks to Slack for its donation). This is another benefit of CARS membership. If you are not currently a CARS member, please consider renewing your membership--or joining us for the first time. You can renew/join at this link.

As there are some SPAM emails attached to this list, rather than just post the invite link, I would ask that you email me at ny...@ny4i.com with a subject that contains CARS SLACK INVITE so I can have Slack send your email an invitation link.

If you are new to Slack, I think you will find it to be a useful tool to stay in contact with club members. If you are a member of the UPARC or SPARC Slack instances, you already know those benefits. If you are a member of the other clubs I mentioned but need to join their respective Slack, let me know and I will send you an invite for those too.
