SPARC has posted a new item, 'Upcoming SPARC Operating Events'

These events are for all SPARC members. Also invited are operators from other area clubs, Hams visiting the area and anyone interested in learning more about Amateur Radio
FEBRUARYName: North American QSO Party, RTTYDate/Time: 1:00pm Feb 24 to 1:00am Feb 25Note: We will train new RTTY operatorsMARCH Name: ARRL International DX Contest, SSBDate/Time: 7:00pm Mar 1 to 7:00pm Mar 3Note: Work DX with your own call. We will set up a log for you. If you are interested in participating in operating, training or just observing operations, notify Tom W4CU (tom_...@yahoo.com) to register and obtain additional details.If there is sufficient interest, the operating events will be held at the club station. Everyone expressing interest will be notified whether or not each event will take place. So don't just show up at the station without knowing if the event is a go. Note for Technical Class - you may operate under supervision using full Extra Class privileges on HF.
