It seems our chimp has been sleeping. As a new board member seeing other new board members, we need to use this or create a new one instead of simply circulating emails outside of this. Conversations get lost and convoluted. I dealt with this with my band, and we need to bring it back to life and maybe remove long gone members.

Ok, but please help me get Board discussions under control. BTW your last bylaws file was fine but had the same name as the bad one, hence confusion. Maybe add suffix.

FYI, board discussions were never on mail chimp.

There is a Google group alias for bo...@carshamradio.org.

Each board member should have an email address @carshamradio.org to use for club business.

Bruce is correct, board membership conversations are on a board group, this list is for members, mail chimp is for club notifications too all past, present, and future members who wish to receive newsletters

Should all board members have manager role on this group? AFAIK I am supposed to look after member list as treasurer and, I would assume, this one too. The member count is about 240 in both so I can keep things in sync. My email provider is proton.me and long discussions are difficult to read chronologically. Signing into the google group lets one see everything in chronological order. Can we, or do we have that for the Board?

The Member Only list was discontinued years ago.. there used to be 3.

You can set up a member only distro list in mail chimp, that should be the list that is curated and maintained from a treasurer standpoint.
