I am writing to remind you that the annual subscription for next year (1 August 2023 – 31 July 2024) remains at £180.  This can be paid via:

 

• A single online transfer of £180
• 4 quarterly payments of £45 (August, November, February, May)
• Monthly payments of £15

Come and Sing event @ St. Mary's Beddington, 16th September

Details about a forthcoming local come & sing that some members may be interested in. Some really well known music with offers of rehearsals too. This email is from the conductor, Pam Akhurst: pakhu...@gmail.com

 

As some of you are aware, we are holding a Come and Sing event at St. Mary's on Saturday 16th September to which you are cordially invited.

 

The main item in the performance will be Vivaldi's Gloria and there will also be a selection of anthems relating to our theme for the day - Happy and Glorious - from composers ranging from Purcell to Britten.  I would be delighted if you could join us on the 16th (please see attachment below).

 

If you are hesitating to commit because you are not confident in learning all the music in one day, I am holding choir rehearsals throughout the summer on Wednesdays 26/7, 2/8, 9/8, 16/8 and 23/8 from 7 - 8.30  if you wish to'get ahead' with the pieces.  Or you may prefer just to sing the main work and that's fine too.
