Dear all,
My friend Felicity Triner has asked whether it might be possible to get a choir together to sing at her mother's funeral in just under 2 weeks' time. I have agreed to ask around.
The service takes place at St Stephen's church in Thornton Heath at 10:30am on Friday 5th May 2023. Choir members would be asked to arrive 30 minutes earlier so that we can have a quick sing through. Robes will either be provided or not required, but people would be welcome to bring their own.
Two hymns:
* How great thou art
* When the roll is called up yonder
One anthem:
* Psalm 23 (I am thinking "Vicar of Dibley")
There is also an introit by a soloist with piano accompaniment - "I know what love is" by Felicity Triner. The choir might be able to contribute a few backing chords.
