St Mary Magdalene Church is holding a “Come and Sing” day with John Rutter on Saturday 9 March 2019. The day is aimed at those who have some choral experience and can read music though perhaps not fluently. We hope the day will help to encourage choral singing in churches and choirs in this part of London and elsewhere.
Please would you include a mention of the event in your weekly newsletter and website. John Rutter will cover the John Rutter: Requiem, Fauré: Cantique de Jean Racine and other Compositions and arrangements by John Rutter.
The cost for the day is £25 (£15 for 11 to 21 years) which includes use of the music scores and refreshments. Singers from 11 years are most welcome (those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). Singing will start at 11am and finish at 5pm with registrations and light refreshments starting from 10am.
