Hey peoples. Just want to drop a quick update with a few things. First, I talked to the NPR reporter Mara Liasson today and she is thinking about doing another story on us soon. Good news there. Maybe she will drop in on our next meeting. I gave her an update on what we've been up to since moving to the new communication format, and suggested she check out the website to stay up to date on our goings-on. Which brings me to....

Also let me know if you want to participate or listen in on the climate team internal discussions. We've been very active recently and I want to make sure the rest of you aren't feeling excluded. On the other issue that's hot at the moment, health care, the legislative team and I are still trying to figure out what to do...maybe link in with the Democracy for America/Howard Dean efforts. Any input is highly encouraged.
Are there any issues that you want to focus on more actively that would fit into the group's core mission? Post on the website about it. If you can't post on the website yet, e-mail Chris to get set up.
Finally, we need to start thinking more about our grassroots reach. Who do you know who would be interested in what we do and would be willing to take action for our causes? Let's try to discuss this more in-depth at our next meeting, which will hopefully be sometime later this month.
