Introduction

Hi, wanted to introduce myself. I'm a senior software engineer from Red Hat who works on the Qpid project.

A coworker mentioned to me that the Celery project doesn't currently work with the Qpid broker, and looking into things I see that it currently works with RabbitMQ and AMQP 0.9 protocol. 

I'd like to help contribute to bringing things up to working with AMQP 1.0, so that things can work with Qpid and AMQP 1.0.
