'deliver-once' from queue with django-orm backend

Hi,

I am using kombu django orm backend with celery.

Now the celery docs say that the django backend has a limitation that while using multiple workers the same task might be delivered to multiple workers.

What is causing the limitation?

Would it be very difficult to implement a deliver once mechanism to the django-orm backend?
