Any ways to use existing connection objects?

Hi,
Passing URIs to kombu.Connection is, well, pretty basic. But it does not lend itself well to complex applications.
Eg: I'm using MongoClient at 3 different places in the same app. And pymongo discourages keeping more than one MongoClient instance.
I can imagine this would be useful for other clients as well.

Is there currently any way to pass preconfigured connection objects to kombu?
If not, I could try a hand at it if pull requests are welcome.
