App previews demonstrate the features, functionality, and user interface of your app using footage captured on device. You can have up to three app previews for each language your app supports, and each preview can be up to 30 seconds long. The following tips can help you create compelling previews that spark interest and drive downloads of your app.
You can create a second or third preview to highlight additional features or specific content that users might not know about. If you have multiple previews, make sure that each video shows users something new about your app.
Since app previews play with the sound muted by default on the App Store, consider using copy to give context to the footage. Use easily understandable terms and language that will appeal to your target audience. Ensure that text is legible and remains on the screen long enough for your audience to read it.
If you display features that are only available through in-app purchase, or if your app uses a subscription model or requires login, you must disclose this. Disclaimer copy can be included within the footage or in the end frame.
Consider overlaying the musical score of your app as the soundtrack to your app preview to establish continuity, even when one scene cuts to the next. You can also capture the sound effects of your UI in your footage to reinforce functionality in your app.
I am currently in the process of designing my store. Still have a lot of work to do, but today I connected my third-party domain. Now when I am in the admin section and click on Preview, it takes me to the 3rd party domain website and not the storefront I am designing. I have primebuydirect.myshopify.com set as the primary domain, not the 3rd party domain.
To clarify, did you follow these steps when adding your third-party domain to your Shopify store? If so, in the 'Online store > Domains' section of your Shopify admin, does your third-party domain show that it's currently connected? Feel free to send me a screenshot of how your domain appears on your end so I can take a closer look. I do recommend removing any sensitive information from this screenshot before sharing it here, though.
Thank you for your reply and information. I was able to talk with Shopify support earlier this afternoon and we were able to resolve the issue. The mistake I made was not setting the 3rd party domain as the primary. Once that was corrected everything worked as it should.
I am trying to make a video for App Preview in Apple App Store.I created video using QuickTime Player, making a screencast of simulator. After doing this i imported this video to iMovie and performed some changes.I now want to export this video for App Store, but iMovie doesn't offer the resolution of 640x1136 for shared video as a file.
I exported in highest resolution and imported in QuickTime Player again. QuickTime Player has option to export video for iPhone 5, iPAd 2 etc. So i tried that, but the resolution stays the same only file format has changed.
NOTE: @Spoek's comment below is worth noting - adding an image of the right dimensions works too and creates a freeze frame. @SpaceMonkeys comment below as well - you can delete the image after adding it.
6) Then double click the exported file and Quicktime will go through a "converting" process. This step is very important. If you don't have Quicktime convert it, the upload will fail in iTunes connect. It will save it as a new file called "YourFile - Converted" (It took me a whole day to realize this!)
Don't forget the iPad 3rd Generation has an on-screen 'Home' button. You'll need another preview for it, even though the resolution is the same as the 2nd generation. If you've used 'safe areas' in your screen designs to avoid the button, your app may appear differently on the two devices. Apple's latest spec does suggest they're not accepting one as an alternative for the other. See: -store-connect/#/dev4e413fcb8
This change moves those binaries from being part of the Windows image, to instead being part of an application that you install from the Store. This decouples WSL from your Windows version, allowing you to update through the Microsoft Store instead. So now once new features like GUI app support, GPU compute, and Linux file system drive mounting are developed, tested and ready for a release you will get access to it right away on your machine without needing to update your entire Windows OS, or going to Windows Insider preview builds.
@CraigLoewen Is there anything I need to do manually to allow Linux to see a usb device like the NVidia Jetson Xavier. Would love to use Windows 11 as our default OS, but need to be able to flash over usb from Linux.
running this command shows this below but not the attached devices?

I have recently installed the latest Windows 11 Pro insider preview (ARM version) in a VM on my M1 Mac with Parallels Desktop. Windows seems to run fine, but the Microsoft Store app is missing. There is no icon for the Store, and the Store doesn't appear in the list of Apps in Settings.
Ive a similar problem. The microsoft app store appear, open, but doesnt charge. Below you will find the screen that appear when i open the microsoft app store, whit the error code. Someone have any solution for these?
What I had to do was to do a clean install with the 22000.194 build. Then I had not only Store but all the other Windows apps that my build was missing. At the same time, I was able to select the Beta or Release Preview channels. I chose Release Preview and opted out of the Windows Insider Program so I could get on track to have the official Windows 11 releases.
why has there not been an executable file issued to correct this snafu thats happens way too often and the number of fixes is not good thing to see cause that just makes hands go up which one to chose to start with. well none work whatsoever. why does this happen in the first place, obviously the upgrade to 11 has bugs cause thats when i lost myh store and it was still gone when reset pc? put out a proper dam fix already
@mahnunchik dude you have no idea how long i been searching for that. i even use swreset before but didnt use the -i switch. thank you very much. got my store back and all is well (so far anyway hahahahaha)
Different preview assets have different requirements and will be shown on different surfaces. Please read the content below to understand how your assets will be used, and what you need to keep in mind when adding assets to your Google Play store listing.
You must provide an app icon to publish your store listing. The app icon does not replace your app's launcher icon but should be a higher-fidelity, higher-resolution version that follows Google Play's icon design specifications.
Use screenshots to convey capabilities, the look and feel, and the experience of your app to potential users for better app discovery. You can add up to 8 screenshots for each supported device type. Supported device types include phones, tablets (7-inch and 10-inch), Android TVs, and Wear OS watches.
Screenshots may be displayed throughout Google Play, for instance in search or on the homepage, in addition to your store listing on Google Play. When Google Play displays both your preview video and screenshots together, for example on your store listing page, and if your preview video is available then your screenshots will be shown after the preview video, followed left-to-right by the screenshots best suited for the device the user is browsing on.
A preview video is effective to show the capabilities, look and feel, and experience of your app to potential users for better app discovery and decision making. It is not required, but we highly recommend providing a preview video for games particularly. Your game requires a preview video to be shown in certain parts of Google Play.
Shopify's developer previews give you early access to new features of Shopify so that you can build on the platform with confidence. You can test features that will be available to users in the upcoming months, but that haven't yet been rolled out. With developer previews, you can test your apps for compatibility, build new features, and adapt your business strategies to maximize your apps' value to users.
A development store with a developer preview enabled includes all of the features that are available on the Advanced Shopify plan, but the store can't be transferred to another owner or transitioned to a paid plan. To learn more about development stores and their features and limitations, refer to Development stores.
If you select a Developer preview, then you can select a developer preview version from the drop-down list. Development stores that use a developer preview can't be transferred to a merchant.
Under Data and configurations, choose whether to start with an empty store, or with a store that's populated with test data generated by Shopify. Stores that start with generated test data can't be transferred to a merchant.
When a stable version introduces a backwards-incompatible change, the feature associated with the change won't be available to a user's Shopify admin until 9 months later, when that version of the API is the oldest supported stable version. So you have 9 months to preview a feature and prepare for it before it's released to users.
The Admin UI extensions developer preview introduces actions and blocks for integrating your app on key pages of the Shopify admin, such as the Products, Customers, and Orders pages. You can access the admin UI extensions developer preview by creating a new extension using Shopify CLI 3.48 or later.
