All,

First time working with Carrington and so far I've found it to be a
great framework.

I have tried to use the plugin pageMash, http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/pagemash/,
with no avail. When I look at the page source, I can see that
prototype and script.aculo.us are both NOT being added even when this
is the only plugin active.

Assuming that I have a blank copy of C-Jam, is there something else I
was suppose to write in for the plugin to be able to add these scripts
to the wp_head like it is suppose to?

As a newbie, I'm sure this question will seem obvious to some, but I
appreciate the help regardless.

Thanks,

Joe

OK, I found the culprit. JAM is enqueing colorpicker.js inside of
carrington-core/admin.php which uses the shortened "$" JQuery commands
instead of the full "jquery" or other abbreviation. Since the
pageMash plugin uses the prototype framework, this causes the no-
conflict mode to fail. I have commented out this include and it's
corresponding css.

I have two questions for Alex/Crowd/Carrington/anyone.
1) Why is colorpicker.cs being called by default for JAM? I know the
Carrington Blog theme has options in the admin Settings that need
this, but JAM does not.
2) Is my assumption above that colorpicker.cs is just used in the
admin settings correct or can I expect issues by removing this
include?

Thanks everyone,

Joe

Also curious if colorpicker is adding any unnecessary overhead or whatever and how to remove it for JAM.
