Economic Development South is happy to announce the first three events for the 2015 Small Business Series. EDS is partnering with the University of Pittsburgh’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to bring free expert business services to the Corridor Communities.
January 26th, 6 pm: The Mechanics of Starting a Business
Jefferson Regional Medical Center Bibro Building (565 Coal Valley Road, Jefferson Hills, PA)
The first workshop will be on Monday, January 26th from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center Bibro Building (565 Coal Valley Road, Jefferson Hills, PA). The topic of this workshop is The Mechanics of Starting a Business.This is a great opportunity for those that have been thinking of starting a business but need expert advice for the best way to get it off the ground.
February 13th, 7:30 am: 5 Things Your Business Should Do in 2015
Whitehall Community Room (100 Borough Park Drive, Whitehall)
EDS and the SBDC will be holding the second workshop of the year on February 13th. Breakfast and networking will be from 7:30 to 8, followed by a presentation of 5 Things Your Business Should Do in 2015. This interactive presentation will be a crash-course on what you can do this year to strengthen your business.
February 13th, 10 am: One-on-one Consulting Sessions
Economic Development South (4127 Brownsville Road, Suite 209, Pittsburgh, PA)
Following this workshop, the SBDC will offer free one-on-one consulting sessions at EDS’ office (4127 Brownsville Road, Suite 209). Interested businesses can meet with the director of the Small Business Development Center and receive confidential advice. Please see the contact information below to make an appointment for an hour-long session on February 13th.
