Safe Neighborhoods Network October Update
The City-Wide Public Safety Meeting, hosted by Zone 4 and Zone 5, is
scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th: 6PM – 9PM at the Teamster’s
Temple (4701 Butler Street in Lawrenceville).
Mayor Luke Ravenstahl and Director Michael Huss will make introductory
remarks.
Asst. Chief Regina McDonald, Pittsburgh Police, and Peggy Harris,
Director of Three Rivers Youth, will speak on the Youth Curfew
Center.
Jay Gilmer, PIRC Coordinator, will speak on the Pittsburgh Initiative
to Reduce Crime (PIRC).
Heads of Public Safety Departments will speak on how they handle
requests for service, what information they need when requests are
made, general timelines for completion, etc.
Food will be provided.
