Looking for new Internet Service

I have Verizon DSL as my internet provider.  The company wants to switch me to FIOS.  I'm happy with DSL.

I'd like to keep my dial up connection and use another DSL service.  Any suggestions?

I have Verizon DSL and they also want to switch me to FIOS.  I told them I wasn't interested at this time.

DSL isn't standard "dial-up" service and is still a very viable service offering from Verizon if you're happy with it.  To the best of knowledge, they can't force you to change even though they offer great prices for the first year.

You are correct in that they can not force you to switch from DSL to FIOS internet service. I think everyone is becoming a bit confused with Verizon's letter - it was only an offer to switch your internet service not a mandatory switch in service.
