Good morning neighbors,

City Planning shared an invitation for Carrick residents to take part in a survey and/or be featured in a photo as part of the Comprehensive Plan.

The City of Pittsburgh’s citywide Comprehensive Plan is doing a 90 to 1 Campaign looking to hear from residents of all 90 neighborhoods highlighting resident dreams, voices, and pride from every Pittsburgh neighborhood. The City’s Comprehensive Plan is a two-year process launched in January 2025 to shape the future of Pittsburgh. This effort centers community voices and is grounded in Just Transition principles ensuring that as Pittsburgh grows, current residents benefit from that change.

We want to be sure Carrick is represented!

There are multiple ways folks can consider participating:

  • Complete the 90 to 1 survey online. Go to this link: https://pgh2050.com/shareyourvoice#landing-page. Click on “Take the 90-to-1 Survey” to share your thoughts about your neighborhood and Pittsburgh overall to inform the Comprehensive Plan’s citywide 2050 visioning effort.
  • Complete this interest form to let us know whether or not you are interested in participating in the photo campaign. As part of the photo campaign, there is a possibility you could be highlighted as a featured resident from the Carrick neighborhood (or possibly one of multiple featured residents). Confirmed participant(s) would be scheduled for a 15-minute slot with the comprehensive planning team’s professional photographer. The next photo session has been confirmed for July 10, 2025 at Sunlight Studio (650 Center Ave, West View, PA 15229). After you fill out the interest form to sign up for a photo, the team will follow up with more timing details.

Thank you for helping showcase Carrick’s voice and identity in the City’s Comprehensive Plan. Please feel free to share the invitation with your neighbors or reach out if you have any questions.

Best regards,

Carrick Community Council
