Last week, we began our look at the presidency with an overview of the creation of the office of the President, the term of office and qualifications, and the seven roles played by the president.

Which of the president's seven roles do you believe is the most important?  With your answer, please explain why it's the most important.

REMEMBER: You must make two visits to Google Groups this week - your first visit should be a post responding to my question by 11:59PM Wednesday; your second visit should be a post responding to a classmate (be sure to mention their name in your response) sometime between 12:00AM Thursday and 11:59PM Sunday. Back-to-back posts on the same day will result in a grade deduction.

I think the most important role is that he is the chief of the executive branch. This means that he oversees the federal agencies all over the nation, appointing their directors and creating policies that would determine their goals during his presidency. The presidents have the important role in the justice department to appoint federal and supreme court judges.

I think Chief Diplomat is the most important because we need to keep London, Japan, and The Soviet Union alliented with us.

I think the most important role of the President, would be being the Chief of State. This role provides highschool students with scholarships, so that they/we can have an opportunity at a better chance of going to college.

The most important role is chief executive because the president enforce federal laws and court rulings without congressional approval
