The annual tradition of the Carp summer solstice was a success! We had a good showing, clubbed some balls and crushed some tin.

Hope to see more of you all next week. I'll be there at 6, we can figure out what we can do after. Based on feedback I expect at least 13 to show up.

Yesterday we had a healthy showing for an extended round of BP, about 11 guys and also Derek. Randy and Dennis brought their boys and they already looked like vets, at the plate at least, around the beer cooler they showed their youth. Said cooler was well stocked by the bartender of the day Mr. MOCKLER who happened to have 36 some odd beers on hand which he expertly rotated to keep ice cold. Randy also made his presence felt by handing out joints like candy to anyone interested. We also learned the appropriate length of time to microwave Nutella from Nelson. Hint: it's not 30 seconds. All crushed balls aside, it was so nice to hang out in our special little corner of Western Tech and argue about whatever topic we heard discussed from accross the socially distant circle.

Next week I'm bringing the bases and expect to get a game in based on people's feedback. As always, anything that anyone feels uncomfortable with needs no explanation. Feel free to come out and sit alone and watch.
