Hello Caroling Mob Maniacs-

Sorry to contact you so late, this has been a much busier month than usual, partly because I've had so much work (which is a welcome change, but exhausting).

This year the mob will meet on Sunday, December 20, at 4 pm in Forest Hills Station. We will leave around 4:15 and go up Saint Rose street to carol- this is my home street now, so I am extremely happy to be caroling it. We will end by 6 pm and head over to the Dogwood Cafe for dinner/beer/hot cocoa.

Paul Selker- someone who mobbed with us last year-  is organizing a caroling outing on Saturday the 19th, during the day, complete with a rehearsal. He and I are planning to use the same book of carols (don't forget to send me your book, Paul!), so if you can read music (a requirement for his outing), you are invited to join his group and sing around Cambridge. Find his invitation, attached. He plans to stick to more public places, while my event focuses on the door-to-door action; so if you come to both, it will be a nicely balanced pair of experiences.

Then-- Join us for caroling on the 19th of December!  Invite your singing friends--the more, the merrier. The only recommendation is that they should be able to sing more or less the appropriate notes at the appropriate times.  We're not looking for professionals (we aren't professionals!) but if we have people who have never sung a harmony before it will be more challengin... (read more)
