The January 15, 2025, Town Board Business Meeting will be held at the Caroline Town Hall by Zoom videoconference. Members of the public may attend in-person or by Zoom. Minutes and video recordings will be posted on the
Town of Caroline website. Comments may be provided at Privilege of the Floor during the meeting, by email (
cl...@townofcaroline.org), or by mail (PO Box 136, Slaterville Springs, NY 14881).
You do not need to have a Zoom account to join. Options 2 and 3 are easiest without an account. You may need the Meeting ID for any of these methods.

1Resolution ____ of 2026. Appreciation to Sue Pearce-Kelling for her Service on the Town’s Review Board
Whereas, the Town’s Review Board is enabled by the capable service of town volunteers who must read and understand the Town’s land use regulations, New York State Town Law, and the project materials submitted for review; and
Whereas, Sue Pearce-Kelling has served on the Town’s Review Board for 13 years with distinction; therefore be it
Resolved, the Caroline Town Board expresses its sincere gratitude to Sue Pearce-Kelling for her many years of diligent and thoughtful service on the Town’s Review Board.
2Resolution ____ of 2026. Appreciation to Craig Modisher for his Service on the Town’s Review Board
Whereas, the Town’s Review Board is enabled by the capable service of town volunteers who must read and understand the Town’s land use regulations, New York State Town Law, and the project materials submitted for review; and
Whereas, Craig Modisher has served the Town’s Review Board for the past 9 years with distinction; and
Whereas, Craig has ably served as Chair of the Review Board during his tenure, providing a steady hand with his building expertise and leadership; therefore be it
Resolved, the Caroline Town Board expresses its sincere gratitude to Craig Modisher for his many years of diligent and thoughtful service on the Town’s Review Board and his stewardship as Chair.
3Resolution ____ of 2026. Appreciation to Dan Klein for his 12 years of public service on the Tompkins County Legislature as representative for Caroline and Danby
Resolved, the Caroline Town Board hereby expresses its appreciation and gratitude to Dan Klein for his 12 years of service on the Tompkins County Legislature, including four years as Chair, and for his attentiveness and responsiveness to queries and concerns from both the public and colleagues, and his commitment to making the world a better place.
4Resolution ____ of 2026. Appointment of Town of Caroline Representatives to the Town of Dryden Public Broadband Committee
Resolved, the Town of Caroline representatives to the Town of Dryden’s Public Broadband Committee for 2026 are Mark Witmer and Kate Kelley-MacKenzie.
4Resolution ____ of 2026. Reschedule 2026 Town Board Annual Audit Meeting
Resolved, the Caroline Town Board hereby reschedules the 2026 Annual Audit Meeting of the Offices of Town Supervisor, Town Clerk, and Town Justices for Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 12 pm at the Caroline Town Offices, 2668 Slaterville Road, Slaterville Springs, NY 14881.

Resolved, the Caroline Town Board amends Resolution 153 of 2025 to delete transfer of $1,430.09 from A1990.4 Contingency to DA5142.4 Snow Removal; and further be it
