ANNOUNCING a new opportunity to hear live, energizing, uplifting Celtic music—both Irish and Scottish!—at no charge, in a sweet little cidery in west Asheville called Urban Orchard West.
CIDERCELTS consists of whistle, hammered dulcimer, fiddles, guitars, and bodhran. Nine of us will play this Thursday, February 27, 6:30-8:30pm. Most or all of us will play every 2nd and 4th Thursday at the same time and place.
Urban Orchard WEST (not South Slope), 210 Haywood ROAD (not Street), 28806. FREE PARKING in front and in back of the cidery. Also may PARK FREE in the upholstery shop’s parking lot up the hill to the right as you face the cidery (just don’t block any doors).
The cidery serves very good sandwiches, salads, soups, and appetizers, and fine sweet or 6%-alcohol award-winning ciders (made with Hendersonville apples!), along with a few wine and craft beer choices. This inviting venue is clean, warm, cozy, and very friendly!
A sandwich, a cider, a friend or two, and happy Celtic music. All this while we support a friendly local family-owned and operated award-winning business!
Y’all come!
