A Green Goblet and Some Alaska items

Hello everyone,

I will continue to send these emails out to all who were signed on to the blog, and I hope this works out for everyone. I notice that a number of artists I follow have discontinued their blogs after similar technical difficulties!

Goblet, Napkin, and Vine features drapery and a green goblet that has been waiting to get into a painting for some time. In the background is a drawing I did of a vine on a trip to France. (More on that later, I am about to print up a series of etchings on the same subject.)  11 x 14, oil on linen panel.

Turnings is an assembly of items I have collected in Alaska, though not all originate here. (Many thanks to my friend Mark who donated his glove!) The common theme is about curving form, which we see everywhere but often don't notice. 12 x 24, Oil on linen panel.
